Special Workshop
Our Top Tango Secrets
Saturday 21st feburary 2026
MORE INFO
vibes
Let’s go deep
Unlock your potential to be desired by all just by exploring some fundamental ideas.
Right before Milonga 50 50 – Tango Melbourne is excited to announce a once only workshop by two of Australia’s most sought‑after tango leaders Jake & Doni— for an extraordinary deep‑dive into the heart of Tango connection.
A message from Jake & Doni
Best friends since 10 years old its suprising that it’s the first time ever we’re teaching together — revealing the 3 Core Principles we look for in followers and rely on as leaders to make our dances magnetic, adaptive, and deeply connected — no matter who’s in our embrace.
Those that know us see the 1000’s of hours we’ve spent building a deep understanding of the dance and the body. We answer the questions; what we look for in a follower to feel freedom in the dance? What we do as leaders to produce freedom in the dance?
The workshop will focus on our foundational ideas that will change your dance at a fundamental level. We’ll give you the tools to jump the que and become one of the most desired leaders or followers in any room.
The workshop will provide deep but easy to follow insights and clear exercises the explore:
How mastering our 3 Core Principles makes your skills quickly recognisable by any top dancer worldwide!
How the top social pros do it. – Make the ideas you already have work more effortlessly with ANYONE
How the true tango fluidity unlocks a new level of connection and abilities in both the leader and follower, and where this fluidity REALLY comes from
*hint: the lead is NOT where it seems to be!*
How to remove the idea of ‘steps’ and find the FREEDOM to just dance what the music inspires you to in the moment
